Live from Abbey Road

rushed home to catch Live From Abbey Road, this new music program on Arts Central tt showcase singers in the renowed Abbey Road studios (made famous durin the Beatles haydays)to an intimate setting. each week 3 singers will perform a 3/4 song set. the nifty camera works and angles complemented the music nicely, and the lush colours, cinematography, and set design are simple, yet tastily done.today's debut episode featured Kasabian, Josh Groban, and The Good,The Bad, and the Queen (yet another band by Blur frontman Damon Albon)

i always thought Josh Groban was for middle-aged uncles tryin to look hip by listening to the most currently popular classical singer. after today's show, Josh has become my guilty pleasure, and i think everyone sld get a piece of him. perhaps the album doesnt do him justice. he's so young! i can literally pinch out his baby fats. i am clueless why he decided to un-hip himself. he sld learn from Shakira. but anyways, after hearing him speak about how he self-taught the piano, i realise his singing voice is so strong. BLOWN AWAY.

CANT WAIT for next week, where Damien Rice will perform 9 Crimes. and Jamiroquai will be there too.
