"where's Andre?!?!?!"

i've been missing out on Project Runway for a while now. and how i pound my heart for tt!!! i've been missing on some great stuff la. yesterday's episode was so funny with Santino's imitation of the whole Tim Gunn situation. "make it work!" and i am soooooo rooting for Daniel, Chloe, and Santino to be at the runway.

Heidi Klum still looks sizzling no matter how pregnant she is. adoring.

Spore Idol this season looks v v promising. definitely a better season than last yr. the stage looks FANTASTIC. the T shape and the mosh pits filled the emptiness of last yr's stage tt more often than not left the performances cold. thou the idols might have lesser stage to work (which might undermine the challenge posed to them), at least it looks better on them too. "hide ya flaws". a perpendicular stage is definitely more runway-xciting. the backdrop is also very flashy. very nice.

and i am really glad they got a decent band this time round. or rather, decent arrangements for the minus-1s. it definitely supported the idols more.

judges. Dick is boring. Florence is the most eloquent and constructive of all. she's sure of wat she's saying, and she never comes across too rude/off-putting. Jacintha speaks in circles all the time. half of wat she says doesnt make any sense. the other half of wat she says, she's imitating Paul 2-Hill's hair. she seems like she doesnt take notes during the performances, cos she seems to be tongue-tied when her turn to comment comes. i expected more from her actually. i tot a classy jazz singer like her will have more style. but she did provide some sass, anti-climax, and dark humour to the panel.

Ken Ken Ken. he has got to be the most irritating part of the show. seriously. he has nothing constructive to say. he is bias when he called Mathilda,Gayle, and Rahima "copycats" and yet told Jonathan tt it was a great performance, when Jonathan was doin sorta like a replica too (to a larger extent IMO). Simon Cowell was honest. Ken Lim is jus being rude for the sake of it. Simon Cowell shushed the audience a couple of times. Ken Lim shuts the audience up all the time it gets irritating and blatently rude. Simon smiles. a smile from Ken wld be like askin Gurmit to stop talkin thruout the show.

thoughts on some contestants.....
Mathilda is THE voice to beat this season. attitude, eloquence, confidence. a risk-taker in song selection( a Bond song?! a Destiny's Child fast number?! and aced it??!!), i hope she goes allllll the way to final 2. i hope she shows more personality thou.

Jonathan Leong!!! i lovelovelove. he's the local version of Chris Daughtry from AI5. cept way cuter and way cooler and smiles way more. i love his deep growl. but he's been pickin songs from singers tt sound like him. next week will be make/break for him. and he's a Political Science student! talkin bout personality AND brains.

Joakim is this season's 1-trick pony. i fell in love with geek in the pink, but he hasnt rise to the occasion since. sigh. but his back-story's touching. it wld be real nice to see him rise to the occasion and be the underdog of the season.

Emilee Kang, terrors or terrors, reminds me of Maia Lee from SI last yr. that look! tt rock thing she did this week with Just Like A Pill!!! tt cringe on her face! the way she moves!!! arrrgggghhhhh@!!!!!! runnnn!!!!!!!
dear Emilee, i hope u return to being a loungey singer, and not be an ah-lian wannabe like Maia. at least u've got talent. and u sounded the most mature in interviews. so pls pls pls. leave the "chicks army guys dig" role to Jasmine.

Gayle was eliminated. how tragic, for Jolin lookalike tt has a good voice to boot. sigh.

Rahima!!! she's the spectacular spectacular this season. the unsuspectin performer who's got gizmos up her sleeves. Attitude, a goosebump inducing vibrato, a sassy version of Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps, and a heartfelt version of I'm With You later, i'm gradually fallin for her. TOP 3 HERE SHE COMES.
