the annual chalet at Changi organised by dear Mdm Chang was great as usual. it's supposed to be an AGM,but the turnout was disappointing. and so we had a mini-brainstorming session instead. food was great, cept tt there's freakin gazillions ants tt seem to appear out of nowhere. mosquitoes are aplenty too la. wat was significantly missing this year was the lovely sea view+sea breeze and the loudvoices of certain usual suspects like huiwen, lixin, vj, etc.

the night was spent largely on the couch. half of us movie-marathoned till 6.45am, while the other half was upstairs chatting+mahjong. haha....so anyways, we caught
-Legally Blonde 2
-Date Movie
-Wolf Creek
-Zoolander.

LB2 was quite hilarious, the usual chick flick with a lil wit+heart. but Date Movie was a knock out for me! it was hilarious, thou the jokes were largely slapsticky and spoofing on other movies. but it's jus so funny la! esp the opening sequence. haha....yes i'm lame. hee. Jennifer Coolidge is officially one of my fav suppportin comedians cos she's jus ROFLOL.
Wolf Creek was sick sick sick. it's one of those films tt makes u afraid to go out into the world, to trust a stranger's helpin hand, or to go touring in a foreign country. the endless roads, the vast plains, the creepy hideout. everything was so enclosed it's as if the world ended and only the hunted and the hunter are left. it's sick great film.
Zoolander wasnt as terrific as i had expected. nowhere as funny as Dodgeball. i tot it got lost and was beating round the bush too much at times.

so i slept at 7am, woke up at 10am, went home for a quick bath, off to work, and here i am, zonked out as a zombie. grrrrrrrrr....

as much as everything's all fun and cheery, cant help but feel a lil alienated from my surrounding recently. perhaps it's just me and my wild thoughts. perhaps it's cos everybody's changing, myself included. i ponder the depth of our friendships, and how different we are now. trying to be in each other's lives aint as easy as it seems before.

hopefully Prom will turn out to be the event to bring us together again.

i've had enough of down entries. i need some alone time really. it's been workworkwork this period and i am exhausted. i've stopped reading Entertainment Weekly. imagine that. hopefully becoming part time wef next week will leave me with time to do all that i want before school starts proper. hopefully an exciting life will pop up once school starts. i can already foresee myself getting high from Chippys fish+chip and Fullhouse milk tea before school everyday. yummy.

so ask me out come August. i'll be free most probably.
