The Curious Case of Benjamin Button leads the field of Academy Award contenders with 13 nominations. The nominations were announced this morning in Los Angeles. As expected, Slumdog Millionaire scored big too, scoring 10 nominations.

i love the award season. it means more great movies to watch. very looking forward to Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. sadly it was snubbed. so was TDK (The Dark knight) from the Best Picture race and Chris Nolan from the Best Director race. pity
