depravation

the last 2 nights were spent at Bec's place having Comedy Night and "assorted titles" movie marathons.
though i've watched Moulin Rouge more than twice without once dropping a single tear, I cried 3 times yesterday.
i had no idea why either, it just did.

then Jack Neo lost me with his filthy product placement, choppy randomness, and excess Hokkien in Money No Enough 2.

sleep depravation really can make someone sussceptible and vulnerable. it heightens ya emotions and does funny things to your moods. walking becomes pensive, crossing the road becomes frightening. i was afraid that i might cross the road regardless of the traffic light (the pitholes of jay-walking) and get myself killed.i rode on Seng's bike on our way to Liu's grandma's funeral. it was my second time on a bike and i was a bit jittery, wondering if i need to write death notes before i took his lift.

in the end, i've made up my mind to learn the bike next year.

I was feeling intense sadness yesterday, it was unfounded and not the reason why tears fell during the movie. sleep really can do things to ya head. i saw my reflection on the train window, and sighed at how i seem to have aged into a 30 yr old (virgin).

thanks to Bec for the delicacies and, as always, the hospitality. love love love the pineapple rice meesiam scrambled egg dory fish tofu with egg apple pai gu soup curry plain rice nasi lemak. i feel so guilty eat so much hahahahahha. wait till i learn how to cook next time =)

Sarah McLachlan - Do what you have to do
where is she when i need her. "Building a Mystery" is one of my all-time favourite albums. it's a modern classic, and this is one of the songs that i like best in that album.
