I've been listening to Easy Tiger today, and i just love this album.
Ryan Adams is a singer/songwriter who sounds like a less whiney, less atas Rufus Wainwright (whose vocal stylings make me irritated sometimes), with an occasional tinge of U2 Bono nasal. his style is soft rock with a tinge of occasional Nashville-rock coupled with folk. always suitable for a good cry-out after a breakup. i read somewhere that he takes drugs. why are all druggies so darn talented?!
i think the electric guitar has never sounded more tragic.
i love this song "Two" from Easy Tiger. the album's backing vocals were more lush than this version, and features the lovely Sheryl Crow if i'm not wrong. i love the twists in this song.

Dear John. pity the version with Norah Jones aint of gd quality.
When The Stars Go Blue. i first heard this on One Tree Hill. didnt know he's the original singer. Blake Lewis did a cover during his stint on AI as well.
not everyone can cover an Oasis classic and make it sound utterly original. Wonderwall.
